MileIQ: Mileage Tracker & Log App Reviews

This app is easy to use. If it misses a drive you have to manually input it on your desktop but other than that its great.

It does what its supposed to do flawlessly! I really appreciate that fact that it works natively on my iPhone.

I have been using this app for almost a week. It has been a useful app. I never realized how many miles I was calculating that could be business. I would like to see the working hours in settings be more flexible. I like to break my time up in 5hr increments and the setting only allows a block of time. Overall it is a very useful app.

I dont use this for business. I am testing it to see how it turns out. I would like to keep it just to keep track of expenses, but I think its kind of pricey.

App is straightforward although sometimes gives miles for being at my house... dont know what this is about. I just categorize it as personal. The app sends detailed spreadsheets when its time for taxes!

First impression: Using the app is super easy. User interface intuitively designed and well thought out. Must for freelance types.

The app is excellent, but I recently found out there is a free app that does the exact same thing.

Awesome app! Makes tracking mileage so easy. Dont know what Id do without it. Easy decision to upgrade to the paid version.

I am using the free version. It doesnt seem you can re-classify or add notes after you put s trip into a category. Maybe I havent figured it out yet. And I just have the free version. I am amazed at how simple it is.

So far Ive only done one drive and the app logged it as two. Maybe my review will change once Im driving more.

Works exactly how it says it will! I thought it was too good to be true! But it works perfectly!

I was hopeful for this app and bought a year subscription. I like everything except the fact that it doesnt track mileage accurately. It will work fine if you typically drive the shortest route between point A and Point B. But if you drive a non direct route your mileage will be under reported. To save on battery and data the program does not record enough data points. I manage rental property and often ride by properties to check on them. As a result Ill drive 20 miles to go 10 miles. Depending on the data timing MileIQ might report that 20 mile drive as 10 miles. I discovered this issue when I drove a direct route to pick up my kids from school and a non direct route on the way back home. MileIQ had the sample mileage for both trips. MileIQ missed 5 miles on that occasion. I have noticed similar discrepancies since then. I think this is why their map does not show the route traveled... More people would recognize the problem.

This app is great for tracking mileage, and you dont have to think about it, it does it automatically. Ive clocked over $300 in mileage just by using app in the first week for my business which will be great come tax time since Im a 1099 business owner. This was a pain staking process before but now if I forget no worries the app has it covered, just go to the app and designate by swiping if the trip was personal or business and your done. Also whats great is it logs each start and stop so if you do something non business related you can separate that from the driving you do related to business. Reports are great as well. Best thing the first 40 business drives are free. Id recommend to anyone who needs to log mileage. Great App!!

Overall this is a good app it is very convenient and easy to use. However, it is difficult to log other Miles such as for rental properties or charitable work or medical appointments. It is pretty much relegated to just being able to log personal mileage and business mileage if there is a way of doing this Im not aware of it and it is not an obvious setting.

I love this app! I dont have to freak out if I didnt write down my mileage for work. Thank you!
